Teck Yin Lim

Teck Yin Lim is an Expert Partner based in Singapore.

On completion of 30 years of command and staff appointments in the Singapore Armed Forces, Teck Yin was appointed CEO, Sport Singapore on 1 April 2011; a role he held till 31 March 2023.   At Sport Singapore, he was responsible for enabling a culture for sport and physical activity in Singapore, including enhancing the high-performance sport ecosystem.  The effort also entailed the organizational transformation of Sport Singapore in bridging new mindsets and capabilities internally and with partners. Concurrent to his duties as CEO, Teck Yin, was also appointed in 2013 to lead the organization of the 2015 South-east Asian Games and the 2015 ASEAN Para Games.

An avid sportsman since his schooldays, Teck Yin has actively participated in a myriad of competitive sport.  He also served in various capacities in the Singapore Swimming Association (now Singapore Aquatics). His pinnacle achievement in sport was to represent Singapore in water polo for 12 years. Teck Yin holds a MSc(Managament), London Business School, a Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Organizational Development, Civil Service College, Singapore and a Graduate Diploma in Military Studies, Fuehrungsakademie der Bundeswehr, Germany.
