❶ What do you enjoy most about your role?
The variety of the role - we get to work on a range of projects, and within those projects gain experience in different roles and responsibilities. A single day can involve interviewing the CEO of a major football club, analysing a complex data set and running an internal team problem solving session.
❷ What was the greatest project experience you had so far?
During my internship, I worked on a collaborative cross-sport project involving five UK National Governing Bodies. By the sixth week of my internship I had travelled to Lord’s, Wembley and Twickenham and presented our findings to leading representatives from these organisations.
❸ What makes working in the sports sector exciting for you?
Being often the only girl in my school football and cricket teams kickstarted my passion for women’s sport. Now I have the opportunity to be involved in and influence the growth women’s sport is experiencing. It’s rewarding to be part of this exciting moment.
