Sophie has developed new competition formats for a number of leagues globally, identified opportunities for improved sporting performance for a range of sports organisations, and evaluated social impact programs for a major global sports apparel brand.
Before joining Portas, Sophie spent 5 years at Twenty First Group, where she was Chief Data Scientist.
Sophie holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London. She represented her university lightweight rowing team and currently actively plays football and enjoys running.
