Sophie Spink is a Senior Project Manager at Portas, with experience leading global projects in over 20 countries cross Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Her work focuses primarily on social impact, women’s sport, sport policy and federation transformation. She founded the Portas Women’s Network and holds a First Class BA degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Oxford University, where she represented the University 1st team at hockey.

Sophie Spink is a Senior Project Manager at Portas, based in the UK. She has lived and worked in the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mauritius and Sri Lanka.
At Portas, Sophie has been focusing on developing global social impact and women’s sport strategies, optimising federations, and creating commercial strategies for various sports organizations. She has delivered numerous projects in major event impact modelling, social-return on investment modelling, SDG and sport for development strategies, innovation and esports strategies, market entry and growth strategies. She is passionate about the power of sport to deliver positive social change and to improve sporting opportunities for women, girls and underserved groups. She founded the Portas Women’s Network and the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion speaker series at Portas. She has spoken at a number of conferences such as the ASEAN Women’s Sport conference, Major Events International and Commonwealth esports conference, and has also been a member of the Global Esports Federation's Strategy & Sustainability Commission.
Before joining Portas, Sophie worked as an analyst at Typhoon Consulting and JP Morgan, where she gained valuable experience in financial analysis and the insurance, TMT and financial sections.
Sophie has a strong academic background, having been awarded the Gibbs Prize at Oxford University for the best overall Philosophy papers in Psychology, Philosophy & Linguistics and 1st Class Honours. She also received the Luddington Prize for her 1st Class Honours combined with a full University Blue in hockey. Sophie now plays netball and tennis in London and recently completed the Ballymaloe 12 week culinary school certificate.
