Rawad Abou Jaoude

Rawad Abou Jaoude is a Senior Consultant at Portas with five years of experience, specializing in the development and implementation of nation-wide and regional strategies for the public sector in the Middle East, as well as commercial strategies focusing on sponsorship, fan engagement, and asset monetization. Prior to joining Portas, Rawad gained experience in the aerospace and engineering industry and was a national mountain biking champion.

Rawad Abou Jaoude is currently a Senior Consultant at Portas, where he is specializing in the development and implementation planning of nation-wide and regional strategies for the public sector in the Middle East. He has also worked on planning and delivery of major sporting events and commercial and investment-focused strategies for private and semi-governmental entities, primarily focusing on sponsorship, fan engagement, and asset monetization. His recent projects include a sports sector enablement strategy for a national investment fund. He has also worked on a comprehensive city sport strategy and developed a fan engagement and brand monetization strategy for a leading Asian football club.  

Before joining Portas, Rawad gained experience in the aerospace and engineering industry. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut, graduating with distinction.

In addition to his professional achievements, Rawad has a strong background in sports. He was the Lebanese national champion in mountain biking and has been involved in organizing local competitions and biking tourism projects. He also played football as a starter in the Lebanese fourth division from 2016 to 2021. Rawad is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
