Peter Whight

Peter Whight has been leading strategic projects with international federations, national associations, leagues, clubs, and major event organizers for 8+ years with Portas. He has expertise in league and competition growth strategy, women's sport, major events and revenue generation. His experience includes a commercial strategy for a multi-sport, multi-club ownership group, an innovation and fan engagement strategy for one of the major rights-holder in tennis, evaluated investment and ownership options for a professional football league including development of a 10-year business plan for league & clubs. He is also a long-term advisor to the Commonwealth Sport movement and leads much of our work with men’s football leagues and clubs.

Peter holds a 2.1 Masters in Chemistry from the University of Oxford. Peter holds a Masters in Chemistry from the University of Oxford. He is a passionate if not exceptional sportsman, formerly the Captain and President of Oxford University Tennis Club.
