Houssam is currently supporting sport governing bodies in Saudi Arabia to deliver impact through their sports development’s strategies, initiatives, and major events portfolios at Portas. He is designing strategic and high impact initiatives for national sports governing bodies, developing post-event reports for major sporting events, and designing sports events IP concepts based on data-driven analysis on sports events and trends.
Before joining Portas, Houssam managed the development and deployment of an enterprise dashboard for a top-tier banking group, led the implementation of a digital workplace solution for a pharmaceutical group, and designed and implemented governance and PMO processes for a luxury goods group.
Houssam holds a Master's degree in Business & Management from Audencia Business School. He actively participates in padel and is interested in tennis and Formula 1. He was the center back of his high school football team, coached by Roger Lemerre, the former coach of the French National Football Team.
