Chen Li has been primarily focused on commercial strategies and growth at Portas. He has extensive experience in commercial strategy, business planning and performance improvement for sporting clubs, stadiums, and tourism destinations. He has also recently led various client engagements to establish measurement systems for social return on investment from sports and physical activities.

Before joining Portas, Chen was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he gained extensive experience in devising future-proof strategies and driving end-to-end transformational changes. He also served as the Commercial Director at Converse, where he led a revamp of the Asia marketplace strategy for the sportswear brand.

Chen holds a 1st Class Honors in Statistics from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from INSEAD. Outside of work, he is a passionate football fan.
