Andrew Poxon

Andrew is responsible for the financial management and governance of the Portas Consulting Group. He oversees financial operations and governance, in support of the firm's strategic objectives.

Before joining Portas, Andrew worked as a Finance Director for two UK sport’s National Governing Bodies, where he worked with both internal and external stakeholders to improve governance, financial performance of major events, and efficiency of operations to enable reinvestment into sport participation and performance. He also served as CFO of a startup software company, leading investment rounds to raise equity and debt capital for product development, leadership team strengthening, and expansion into new territories.

Andrew holds a BSc in Accounting and Financial Management from Loughborough University and is a Chartered Accountant (ACA). He represented Loughborough University at table tennis and continues to actively participate in the sport.
