As an Expert Partner, Nic draws on over 25 years as a senior executive, chair, board member and consultant at the top levels of some of global sport's biggest names.  He has been General Secretary of the Premier League, CEO of the British Horseracing Authority, and interim CEO of the Football Association and its Corporate and Legal Affairs Director.  He has chaired UK Athletics and England Golf, and the England Cricket Board Regulatory Committee, and been a non-executive director at the FA, Wembley Stadium, and the collective bargaining forum in English football. He has also served on the UEFA Professional Football Strategy Committee, the European Leagues board, UK Government Sports Integrity Task Force and the Horserace Betting Levy Board, and was the first chair of the Sports Rights Owners Coalition, as well as a key role in establishing the World Leagues Forum.

Nic qualified as a solicitor with Freshfields, following a law degree at Bristol University, and joined the FA in 1996 as its first in-house counsel. He was an advisory board member with Octagon Media Rights, and is strategic consultant to India's second biggest league, the Pro Kabaddi League.  He has advised many competitions and federations across the world, including as professional football consultant with FIFA.

Other current interests include chairing businesses in sports tech and data, bio tech, manufacturing, and the retail motor trade, as well as the Christchurch NZ Foundation.
